PowerPoint DONE!!

Oh my gosh..... I'm so relieved to have my PowerPoint done. I seriously think I worked for 6 hours on it. Crazyness but it was quiet interesting to see how to put together a presentation for the kids to use as a review. 2 weeks down, 2 weeks to go!!

Inspiration & PowerPoint

Ok, so I've been working on figuring out what I'm suppose to do with the Inspiration and I'm still not sure what to do. Still, working on it and will see how it goes. The PowerPoint is causing some small minor issues because I can't find a definition as to what a non-linear link is and I've tried to download the tutorial a couple of times and it won't fully load and what does load takes forever even with cable internet. So fun times when technology doesn't quiet go according to plans. Good thing for me, is that we're almost half way through the semester and I've learned some stuff.

1 week down

Ok, so I am thrilled that I have survived the first week of summer classes, EVER! I've learned some interesting things in my technology class and have been sparked by new ideas in my current topics class. Overall, I'm just happy to be 1/4 of the way done.

Completely at a loss

Ok, so I've been reviewing the different assignments for this class and I have to say, I feel completely at a loss. I have no idea what half of these items are or how to do them. I feel completely overwhelmed by the tasks that are at hand. I'm hoping I'm not the only one that feels that way.

My first ever blog

As it states in my title, this is my first ever blog. I think it's interesting that a technology class is my reason for using this. Some of the items on the list for assignments I have never heard of. I have no idea how to make a video or what Inspiration is, so this class will be very interesting to me.

I think that this resources and tools will be extremely helpful to me as a teacher to connect to my students, but will require a lot of preparation to start, I think. It will be useful for parents to see when assignments are due to have a website, that includes additonal resources for them to assist their children with the homework assignments.

So I think this class will be an interesting learning experience but it will be very time consuming for me, since I don't tend to use the new trends in my day to day life. So here goes......
